@hybotics I'm definitely going for the 10.5" model. That one's big enough and still is very portable. If you need a replacement for a laptop I would go with the bigger model, otherwise it doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
@matigo One really great new feature is JSON decoding and encoding. With Swift 4 that is baked right into the language. But other than that I haven't found any big difference yet. Gonna read a little more about the changes later today or tomorrow though, so I can tell you more about it then.
@matigo Oh yes. Playing around with Xcode 9 at the moment. If they keep up with it this will be the best release ever. And the best part about it is I don't have to change a single line of code to switch to Swift 4. At least not in the current state Ristretto and all my other apps are in. The only downside is once again third party frameworks that don't compile. One reason more to move away from depending on other people's code.
Also, iOS 11 beta works perfectly fine on my iPad Air 2. And Xcode 9 beta looks great so far. Especially the new simulator.
